Marketing and Graphic Design Intern
As a marketing and graphic design intern for California Baptist University, I have crafted several marketing campaigns for the NCAA D2 athletic program, assisted in national campaign creation, and overseen all social media efforts. Below are two of my favorite campaigns I helped build and execute.
Banded Calendar Wallpapers
I was challenged to find a new inexpensive marketing space for CBU's brand. My solution was to create monthly CBU branded calendars that acted as iPhone wallpapers. The wallpapers were designed to be used by both current and prospective students. The download rates on the wallpapers were incredibly high. A recent study found that millennials check their phones 157 times per day. I was able to capitalize on that repetition to keep CBU's brand on the minds of hundreds of prospective students.
"Take It Outside" was an outdoor dual with NCAA Division I foe Stanford. The event attracted a standing-room only crowd of 2,620, which set an attendance record for an outdoor collegiate wrestling dual. The campaign was awarded NCAA "Best of Brand". The Best of Brand Power Rankings are "designed to highlight the programs that are most effectively building their brand via social media" and "to honor programs investing in social media marketing."
